About AAE Foundation

The Association of American Educators Foundation (AAEF) is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. AAEF was established to support the activities of the Association of American Educators (AAE) – the largest national non-union teacher association. The stated purpose of AAEF is to provide the public and public educators with opportunities, information, and funds to help reform and improve the education of America’s youth.

AAEF amplifies the authentic teacher voice in the ongoing national dialogue about education policy and education reform. By engaging educators, AAEF is able to disseminate critical educator opinions to elected officials and policy makers.

In addition, AAEF supplements its educational and charitable activities through the dissemination of newsletters and publications, including Education Matters, to educators, stakeholders, and supporters. Throughout the school year, AAEF sponsors activities throughout country to engage educators on issues impacting their classrooms.

In an effort to encourage professionalism in our public education system, AAEF also provides scholarships and grants to dedicated teachers nationwide. These funds are designed to advance student learning, continue teacher education, and fund innovative classroom projects.

AAEF has received contributions from a cadre of concerned educators, parents, foundations, and business leaders who are unsatisfied with the status quo in education. These individuals believe in advancing the teaching profession and empowering our nation’s teachers as true professionals. If you are interested in more information about how to contribute or to solicit a grant request from AAEF staff, please email AAEF.
